Meet Diana Cruz—Parker Street Ministries’ Finance Associate!
Raised in Manatee County, Diana moved to the area about two and a half years ago. She’s currently working toward her accounting degree at the University of South Florida and brings experience in bookkeeping, finance, and supporting new entity start-ups. “I enjoy helping organizations build solid financial foundations and new business owners grow with confidence,” she says.
Diana is eager to get started here at PSM: “I’m looking forward to learning the rhythms of each department and understanding how my role can best support the mission. I’m excited to serve in a place where faith and community impact are at the center of work.”
Outside of work, Diana says food is her love language. “Most of our family vacations center around visiting different restaurants, food shops, or food markets we find throughout the year. We enjoy anything homemade with love.” She also enjoys exploring the outdoors, planning family outings, and connecting with her church family. But her favorite moments are with her daughter “whether we’re laughing at something silly, exploring new places, or just cuddled up reading together.”
Diana’s favorite Bible verse is Revelation 12:11— “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony”— which reminds her “our victory is not just spiritual but also personal… It encourages me to live boldly and share openly about what God has done.” Diana’s best advice? “Nothing ever stays the same forever.” She explains, “Change is inevitable, and often, necessary. And reminding myself of this fact of life helps me to properly administrate my blessings in seasons of rain and abundance and to thrive during dry seasons.”
Thanks for learning more about Diana Cruz!
