Meet Jeff Wright—Parker Street Ministries’ Bookkeeper!
Jeff was born in Victoria, British Columbia, and has lived all up and down the West Coast, predominantly in the Portland, Oregon, area. He and his family made their way to Central Florida nearly five years ago and now call Davenport home. Jeff earned his bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Portland State University and has spent his career working in the accounting field.
While Jeff is new to PSM, he is excited to experience the fulfillment of working in ministry and to share that joy with his family. Speaking of family, Jeff enjoys spending time with his wife and two grown kids, along with their dog and two cats. He enjoys board games like Ticket to Ride and Settlers of Catan, watching any decent mystery series or movie he can find, and discovering new places to visit. Traveling to the mountains especially brings him joy, with trips to Banff, Jasper, Yoho, Whistler, Waterton, Glacier, Yellowstone, Yosemite, Tahoe, and Crater Lake. And, as Jeff adds, “Oh, and Mount Dora, can’t forget Mount Dora!”
His best life advice? “Step away from your computer, phone, T.V. and go live life. The memories you will cherish will be of the people you meet and the places you experience; not the video games you won, the number of followers you had on social media, or if Gilligan ever made if off of that island.”
