Nothing beats good ole soap and water – featured at the first week of Backyard Lunch & Learn. Besides hand-washing skills and being grouped by families, learners experienced: Vitamin D! (you’re welcome), two flash-downpours (thank you, Cristobal), math games using green dice…in the grass (oops), Book-it-Parker-Street-Style pizza reading challenges, Bible stories, a soon-to-be disgusting science experiment about what grows on unwashed things (like hands), Polk School Summer Lunches, plus more good food.
