For 30 years, Parker Street Ministries has been participating in the vision of God’s love right here in Lakeland’s Parker Street neighborhood by fostering spiritual growth, supporting lifetime learners, stabilizing the neighborhood, and cultivating connections that bridge gaps in relationships and services.
Now, for the first time ever, we’re celebrating three decades of ministry in a new way.
The PSM Telethon
- May 7 at 6:00 p.m. to May 8 at 6:00 p.m.
- A 24-hour livestream event filled with stories, worship, generosity, and community.
Yes, we’re going back to the 90s to celebrate 30 years of impact.
What Is the Telethon?
The PSM Telethon is a 24-hour virtual livestream designed to highlight the life-changing work happening year-round through our programs and partnerships.
Every hour will showcase the impact of PSM’s ministry areas, highlight community and church partners, share stories from students, families, staff, and supporters, and invite viewers to give toward transforming lives in the Parker Street neighborhood and beyond. Along the way, expect engaging entertainment, worship segments, interviews, games, and special moments that reflect both our mission and our community.
This isn’t just an event. It’s a 24-hour movement of generosity and hope.
Special Early Giving Opportunity
To build momentum leading up to May 7, early givers have a chance to win something exciting.
Anyone who gives to the Telethon between now and April 30 will be entered to win four VIP tickets to see Tauren Wells live in concert on May 7 at Victory Church in Lakeland. VIP tickets include access to an exclusive Q&A session before the concert.
There will also be more prize contests to come throughout the Telethon season.
Why This Matters
For three decades, lives have been shaped through Gospel-centered community development. Students have grown in their faith. Families have found stability. Neighbors have discovered connection. Partners have come alongside this work in meaningful ways.
The Telethon is an opportunity to celebrate what God has done, invite more people into the mission, strengthen support for the next generation, and build momentum for the next 30 years.
Whether you give, volunteer, pray, sponsor, or simply share the event, you are part of the story.
How to Get Involved
There are several ways to participate: become a sponsor, give early, volunteer during the Telethon, sign up to cover one of the 24 hours in prayer, or share the event with friends, family, and your church.

Thirty years is worth celebrating. And the best part is the story isn’t finished.
Join us May 7-8 as we look back with gratitude and move forward with faith, together.
