This June marked 16 years for Hannah Hardin at Parker Street Ministries. Over that time, she has faithfully served in roles ranging from Tim’s assistant to front desk, volunteer and neighborhood events, HR, and finance. Today, she serves as Operations Director, bringing a steady hand and a heart for the neighborhood to every detail of her work.

Originally from Ocala, Hannah came to Lakeland as a student at Southeastern University. More than 17 later, Lakeland is truly home. She holds a degree in Communications, which has helped shape her many years of ministry and service at PSM.

When asked what brings her joy, Hannah lights up: “Jesus, Ty, my family and friends, my community, rainy days, helping, donuts, smoothies, sleep…I could go on.” Her favorite Scripture, Psalm 16:11, is a constant reminder of God’s nearness: “He’s with us right now, showing us every step, and the fullness of joy in His presence is available right now too—not something we have to wait for! Plus, we have everything to look forward to—getting to live with Him forever!”

Hannah also treasures life in the Parker Street neighborhood, enjoying time with family, friends, church, and travel. She loves to read, explore the outdoors through hiking, backpacking, and mountain biking, and even has a “hot tip” for a great local lunch spot: the Depot Café at Bonnet Springs Park. “They have an amazing salad bar and a diverse menu of classic familiar favorites—and you can take a beautiful walk after you eat!”

One of her most memorable moments at PSM is also one of the most personal. During a massive neighborhood workday, volunteers gathered to clean out several condemned properties. Among them was Ty, who would later become her husband. “We started working together (and racing each other to the dumpsters) and having so much fun!” she recalls. This photo from that very day captures the joy of their epic meet cute and when their story began.

Thanks for learning more about Hannah Hardin!
