On May 9, Parker Street Ministries (PSM) welcomed 300 guests for breakfast and dinner to Taking Victory to the Streets (TVTTS)!
PSM seeks change in the Parker Street neighborhood and beyond through community development activities that are shaped by the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The goal of TVTTS is to raise a portion of PSM’s operating budget, partner with new households and businesses, recruit volunteers, and increase the number of people connected with and praying for this neighborhood.
On hiatus since 2019 because of the COVID-19 pandemic, it was wonderful gathering neighbors, donors, volunteers, and more to hear about all God is doing. Those in attendance had the opportunity to watch new videos produced to share about PSM’s updated focus areas. The videos may be viewed on PSM’s website and YouTube page.
Thanks to the event and faithful friends, there is much to celebrate:
- 300 individuals gained insight about the ministry.
- 40 NEW households began giving (and several former donors began giving again).
- 51 individuals inquired about volunteering.
- 78 individuals committed to pray.
