Meet Tom Walker—Parker Street Ministries’ Facilities & Maintenance Technician!
Originally from Monticello, Indiana, Tom moved back to Lakeland this past March. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Bethel University in Mishawaka, Indiana, and has spent much of his career managing various business ventures. He was drawn to PSM’s mission of helping make residents’ lives whole through an expression of Jesus’ love.
Tom is married to Jody, who serves as the Chief Student Financial Services Officer at Southeastern University. Together, they have six children, 16 grandchildren, and a dog named Dexter.
One of Tom’s favorite things is taking something old and neglected and making it look new and fully functional again. When he’s not at work, he enjoys golfing, hiking, kayaking, and traveling. He’s currently watching the “House of David” series, and if you’re looking for his favorite meal, you’ll find him ordering Waffle House hash browns smothered and covered with extra jalapeños, sausage gravy, and chili.
Thanks for learning more about Tom Walker!
