This summer, 97 youth in K-8 participated in Summer Camp!
Campers in K-8 were offered:
- 40 Summer Camp days
- 62 academic hours
- The opportunity to attend 5 field trips including Bonnet Springs Park, ZooTampa, MOSI, and Rock Springs. Additionally, a bonus trip was taken to either skate, bowl, or visit the Florida Children’s Museum!
- At least 30 minutes of outside play per day
- 2 healthy snacks per day
- 1 healthy lunch per day
- 30 minutes of Bible instruction per day
- Oral hygiene lessons and received toothbrush and timer
Additionally, those in grades 1-8 were offered:
- 8 hours of time in the Project Room for STEM/STEAM-related hands-on-learning
- 4 hours of art instruction

Finally, through the Start Smart Education Essentials campaign, 145 students (as of August 16) started school prepared with backpacks, school supplies, uniforms, and more!
