Meet Paige Connell: PSM’s first HR Generalist! Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Paige has lived in Polk County since 2022. She graduated from Grand Canyon University with a bachelor’s degree in Applied Human Resources Management. “I’m most excited to not only pursue a career in Human Resources but do so while spreading the gospel,” Paige says. “I love having the opportunity to work in the community PSM serves and see the impact that each staff member and volunteer makes no matter what their role is. Seeing God move in all aspects of the organization is what I am most excited to experience!” Welcome to the team, Paige!

Something I’m looking forward to at PSM: Meeting the families within the neighborhood and building relationships with them and the staff.
What I’m reading/watching right now: My Bible is the only book I read consistently, and I am not big into TV, but I do love a good podcast. I am an avid listener of “WHOA That’s Good” by Sadie Robertson Huff.
Something that brings me joy: Spending quality time with my husband and family. I love getting to do different things with each of them whether it is playing tennis with my little sister, hanging out with my husband and our dog, Shadow, or having dinner with family. It is so easy to get caught up in the busyness of life and I find it so important to carve out time each week to spend together and with our families.
Life verse: “Do not be anxious about anything but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made know to God” (Philippians 4:6). This verse has led me to leave an anxious life and lean on the Lord who provides peace that surpasses all understanding no matter the situation.
Favorite coffee shop: I don’t drink coffee or have a specific spot, but I do love Diet Dr. Pepper so that is my go-to order at any place that has it!
