Call PSM, checked our website, or email volunteer@psmlakeland.org if interested in Volunteering! Our biggest ongoing need for volunteers is our year-round Academic Enrichment Program, for which we need tutors high school age and above to serve Monday-Thursday from 4:15-5:45pm (August-May) and 10am-12pm (June-July) by helping students with homework and playing academic games with them. Tutors serve from one to four days a week -- we look for a weekly commitment while knowing there will be some schedule conflicts. By choosing to volunteer at Parker Street Ministries, you can have the assurance that you will help narrow students’ achievement gaps and that their lives will be touched. This is also a great way to do good while earning community service hours. There are also opportunities to lead extracurricular activities.

Join neighbors as we continue watching The Chosen—a creative, media-based retelling of the life of Jesus and His disciples. 

We’ll gather Mondays at 7:00 p.m. in Parker Street Ministries’ Community Center (sanctuary) to watch one episode, with occasional skips for holidays and other events—so be sure to check PSM's Facebook event page for updates. 

This series is meant to spark conversation and deepen appreciation for Scripture, but it is not a replacement for the Bible.

Come ready to fellowship, watch the Gospel portrayed on screen, and be inspired to open the Bible and explore the story for yourself.
